Director/Owner
Giselle Workman
Miss Gigi founded Step It Up Performing Arts in 1996 on the principles of fostering the gift of artistic performance in our community. Our focus is not on competition but on the total performance education and well- being of our students. While we don't focus on competition, we don't discourage it. Some of our students have auditioned and been accepted to Denver School of the Arts, The Russian Ballet, and recently, an invitation to audition at Julliard. Step It Up Performing Arts has developed a unique and powerful dance and performance educational program for toddlers to adults. Our students not only learn great technique, they have a lot of fun as well.
Poms Instructor
Angelique
Dancing for many years and many styles, my love of dance started at the age of two years old. From ballet, tap and jazz when I was younger to hip-hop and poms as I got older. In high school, I tried out and danced competitively on my high school poms squad. After high school I quickly followed in my mother's foot steps falling in love with the art of teaching.

Throughout the years she has participated in many competitions and dedicated countless of hours training in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Stage, Commercial-Street, Heels and Hip-Hop. Between performing for the 2010 Winter Olympics to training in New York and winning the Canadian national hip hop program catered to local school districts which incorporated dance into their physical education studies. For the past 10 years, Jamie has dove deep in all forms of dance. Including tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, and many more. this led to many performances, competitions, awards, and some of the closest friendships she ever made. Along with all the great memories that came from learning, she desired more from dance. She slowly started assisting with classes and fell in love with teaching.
